Bio
Andrew Breetzke is an attorney who has been working with South African Cricketers’ Association (SACA) since 2012, and has served as its Chief Executive Officer since 2020. SACA is a registered trade union and serves as the voice of the players in South African cricket. Previously, Breetzke held the role of SACA’s Head of Player Advocacy and Services.
In his capacity as SACA CEO, Breetzke also serves as an Executive Committee Member at Federation of International Cricketers’ Associations.
In addition to these roles, Breetzke previously served as Chairperson of the Anti-Doping Tribunal at South African Institute for Drug-Free Sport. Some of his other former roles include: Chairperson of School Governing Body, SACS for approximately 8 years; Director at D.I Management Solutions for over a decade; and serving as Candidate Attorney-Associate at the Silberbauers law firm based in Cape Town for four years, which is focused on Commercial, Marine and Marine Insurance cases.
Breetzke is a graduate of Stellenbosch University where he completed his degree in BA LLB in 1993.
