Bio
Don Wehby is a Jamaican public servant, business executive, and sports administrator. He currently serves as a Senator in the Jamaican government.
Wehby is also currently the Chief Executive Officer of GraceKennedy Ltd, a public listed company on the stock exchanges of Jamaica and the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, operating in two industries – Food trading and Financial services. Wehby has been with GraceKennedy Ltd from 1997 for all but two years from Oct 2007 to Sep 2009.
Wehby was involved with Cricket West Indies as he led a critical independent task force on governance, including four other members. He prepared the 36-page “Wehby Report” on the Governance Reform of Cricket West Indies in August 2020, which had five key recommendations.
A Chartered Accountant by training, Wehby gained his early auditing experience at Touche-Ross Thorburn. He has a M.Sc in Accounting (Hons) from the University of the West Indies in Mona, Jamaica.
