Bishop’s love for the game of cricket drew him towards a career in commentary. He has traveled all over the world as a commentator since his retirement from the game as a player. His commentary in the 2016 T20 World Cup Final has been called an “iconic piece of commentary” after Carlos Brathwaite’s 4 consecutive sixes in the last over won the final for West Indies against England.

He also visited Pakistan as part of the commentary team for the 3-match ODI series between Pakistan and West Indies in Multan in June 2022.
