Bio
Kyle Coetzer is a coach and former international from Scotland. He made his international debut in 2008 and captained his country in both the ODI and T20I format. He played 82 ODIs and appeared in his last T20I for Scotland in T20 World Cup 2021, announcing retirement in July 2022.
Coetzer has been serving as the Director of Cricket at the Benwell Hill Cricket Club since Sept 2017. He is also the owner and the head coach at Kyle Coetzer Cricket Coaching, a professional coaching company, where he provides private cricket coaching focusing on all aspects of the game.
Coetzer was the player/coach for Forfarshire Cricket Club in Caledonian Highlanders Cricket for over three years. He started his cricketing career for Durham against Glamorgan in 2003 and represented the county for over 8 years from April 2002 to Sep 2010, before moving to Northampton County Cricket club from April 2011 to Sep 2015, during which he captained the team in 2014 T20 and One Day competitions.
Coetzer earned the ECB’s Level 4 Master Coach Certification in Dec 2018 and previously acquired the ECB Level 3 Coaching Qualification in Mar 2016.
Coetzer received a Post Graduate Diploma in Elite Cricket Coaching from the University of Gloucestershire in 2019.
