Mukesh Ambani is the richest man in Asia, having a net worth of $90.7 billion. 

He is the chairman of Reliance Industries (RIL), having been on the Board of Reliance since 1977.

A Chemical Engineer by profession, Ambani has an MBA degree from Stanford University in USA. 

The Mumbai Indians Franchise was sold to RIL for $112 million for a span of 10 years, making it the most expensive team to be sold in the Indian Premier League.
