Bio
Parth Jindal is an Indian Businessman and sports leader.
Jindal is currently the Managing Director of JSW Cement, a role he has held since 2014 and also the Managing Director of JSW Paints. Both JSW Cements and JSW Paints are the subsidiaries of JSW Groups, an Indian Multinational conglomerate based in Mumbai. JSW Group is led by Sajjan Jindal, father of Parth Jindal and part of the O.P. Jindal Group. Parth Jondal joined the JSW Group in 2012 as an Economic Analyst within the Group’s Corporate Strategy and led all strategic projects.
Jindal also serves as a Director of JSW Steel US. He played an important part in devising a new retail strategy for JSW Steel.
Jindal is a Director of JSW Sports, which currently runs Delhi based Indian Premier League team Delhi Capitals, Indian Super League Football Club Bengaluru F.C, and the Inspire Institute of Sports. He is the Chief Executive Officer of Bengaluru F.C and was appointed to the role of Chairman of Delhi Capitals in 2018, when JSW Sports acquired a 50% stake in the IPL Team from GMR Group. He founded the Inspire Institute of Sports (IIS) in Vijayanagara district. IIS is an initiative led by the JSW Group which was formally launched on 15 August 2018.. As a Director of Bengaluru FC, Parth was elected unopposed as Vice President of the Western Indian Football Association.
Jindal also oversees the Management of JSW Venture Fund. He along with his wife Anushree Jindal 100% own Svamaan Financial Services, a microfinance Venture.
Under Jindal’s stewardship JSW Sports was honored with the “Rashtriya Khel Protsahan Puruskar 2018” by the President of India, “for encouragement to sports through Corporate Social Responsibility.” He is the youngest Business Leader on the ‘2019 Economic Times 40 under Forty’ list, ‘GQ’s 50 most Influential Young Indians for 2018’ and washonored by News24 as 2018 Youth Icon for his contribution to the nation.
Jindal earned his MBA from Harvard Business School in 2016 and his Bachelor in Arts in Economics and Political Science from Brown University in 2012.
