Bio
Anthony “Tony” Dodemaide is an Australian former test cricketer and executive who currently serves as a Selector for the Australian Men’s National Team. In addition, he has been running Dodemaide Consulting since November 2018.
Dodemaide previously had an extensive career as a cricket administrator and executive. He served as the Head of Cricket for the Marylebone Cricket Club for five years until 2004, when he joined the Western Australian Cricket Association (WACA) as CEO. After a three-year stint at WACA, Dodemaide became the CEO of Cricket Victoria for 11 years.
Subsquently, Dodemaide served as GM Hockey 1 League where he contracted to lead and manage the revamped and revitalized national senior men’s and women’s hockey competition, the Sultana Bran Hockey One League.
As a player, Dodemaide made his test debut in 1987, and played for Australia until 1993 in both the Test and ODI formats.
Dodemaide received his B.AS in Physics and IT from Footscray Institute & Caulfield Institute (now Victoria University & Monash University respectively) in 2003.
