Bio

Will Rayner is currently serving as the President of the South Australian Cricket Association (SACA) since his appointment to the role in September 2022. He is the 12th President in SACA’s 151-year history. Rayner has been a member of the SACA Board since 2019 and was elected Vice President in December 2021.

Apart from his involvement in cricket administration, Rayner has had an extensive career in the areas of finance and banking, agribusiness, corporate affairs and events management. He was a premiership player with the Premier Cricket Club Kensington in 2002-2003.

Currently, Rayner is also the Chief Executive Officer of the Royal Agricultural and Horticultural Society (RA&HS) of SA, an organization that contributes to the promotion and success of South Australia’s primary industry by hosting events and rewarding excellence. The premier event of the RA&HS is the Royal Adelaide Show, which is held annually in September.

Before joining the Royal Agricultural and Horticultural Society (RA&HS), Rayner spent 15 years at Bendigo and Adelaide Bank and its subsidiary, Rural Bank, where he held various roles including GM Sales, GM Agribusiness, and Chief Operating Officer/Divisional CFO of Rural Bank’s specialist agri-division.

Rayner holds an MBA from the University of Adelaide and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD).
