Bio
William Glenwright was appointed Head of Global Development at the International Cricket Council in November 2016 based in Victoria, Australia. As part of his role with the ICC, he is responsible for leading cricket’s sport development and market development programmes.
Previously, Glenwright worked at World Rugby as General Manager of Oceania for 7 years, and then subsequently served as General Manager of Asia and Oceania for 3 years. He has also worked for numerous other sports organizations such as the Australian Sports Commission where he was appointed Regional Program Manager, and later Manager for International Relations.
He is a graduate of the University of Canberra, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Sports Administration in 1995.
