First-Ever Souvenir Tickets

Tickets commemorating momentous USA-Pakistan upset come at a time of

unprecedented growth for Cricket in US

Willow, a television channel and digital platform airing cricket-related programming across the United States, in partnership with Weldon, Williams, and Lick, Inc. (WW&L), a visionary provider of ticketing and custom, secure access control solutions, today announced the launch of Direct Souvenir tickets for Team USA’s historic victory against Pakistan in the International Cricket Council (ICC) T20 World Cup.

The USA win came during their first-ever appearance in the T20 World Cup in June 2024. Visuals for the ticket, which display statistics on the reverse side and fans’ exact seating location, can be found here. Fans can purchase the souvenir ticket at this link, including limited-editions autographed by star USA player Saurabh Netravalkar. This is the first time this type of offering has been made available for fans of cricket.

“This historic win in the sport took place at a pop-up stadium that has since been demolished, making this moment truly irreplicable. The USA win was an amazing moment for cricket fans and we’re thrilled to offer these souvenirs to the sport’s increasingly growing fanbase in America,” said Todd Myers, COO of Willow. “Through our partnership with WW&L, we’re now able to offer cricket fans a way to commemorate the thrill of a priceless moment.”

USA’s major win coincides with a time of explosive growth for the sport across the United States. This year, the ICC saw a 370% increase in visitors to its website and app versus the 2022 T20 tournament. Further aspiring growth in the market is the recent launch of the U.S. professional league, Major League Cricket, and the inclusion of the sport in the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games.

“Our Direct Souvenir program is focused on giving fans a way to mark a cherished memory, and there has been truly no other moment in cricket like this historic upset,” said Ron Wilson, President of WW&L. “We’re proud to be expanding our souvenir ticket offerings into cricket at a time of rapid growth for the sport and look forward to giving fans something to hold onto as we await Team USA’s next big win.”
